Here's a quick rundown of what you need to know about membership eligibility:
- Diagnosis of one or more mental illnesses: We welcome individuals who have been diagnosed with mental illnesses, recognizing that everyone's journey is unique and valued.
- Stable behavior: It's important for the safety and well-being of all members that behavior remains stable. We want to ensure a positive and nurturing environment for everyone involved.
- Permission for contact with mental health and medical professionals: We take the safety and comfort of our members seriously, which is why we may reach out to mental health and medical professionals to confirm that joining the club is beneficial for you and others.
- Sobriety during Clubhouse activities: To maintain a safe and supportive atmosphere, we ask that members remain sober while participating in Club activities and programs.
Membership fees for 2024 are just $10.00, a small investment in your well-being and connection with our vibrant community.
If you're interested in joining, please fill out the three forms and bring them to the Club. If you need assistance, don't hesitate to visit the Club, where someone will be happy to help you or call Mental Health at 250-830-2620 and ask for an Intake to the Beacon Club.
