Welcome to the Campbell River Beacon Club
What better way to enhance your Thanksgiving dinner with a delightful dessert and simultaneously support local mental health initiatives than by purchasing take-and-bake pies from the CR Beacon Club? This year, each pie has been meticulously crafted with significant contributions from our members, who have been involved in every step from peeling and slicing the apples to making and rolling the pie crust.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will support adults living with mental illness, enabling them to participate in activities that foster ongoing recovery and resilience.
The Campbell River Beacon Club is a social club for people living with chronic mental illness and substance misuse. The clubhouse promotes safety, well-being, dignity and enjoyment of life through activities, social events, educational programs and community involvement. The Campbell River Beacon Club is committed to providing a safe, respectful, welcoming environment in which individuals are encouraged to maximize their potential and become positive contributors to our community.
The Campbell River Beacon Club acknowledges that it is an honour and a privilege to be located on the unceded traditional territory of the Ligwiłda’xw people; the We Wai Kai, Wei Wai Kum, and Kwiakah First Nations, whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.
